This blog is about my running experiences. I chose the title because it reflects my attitude toward running. Too often we look for a quick fix as an alternative to hard work. Well, running is hard work but very rewarding, and there are no shortcuts or quick fixes. You can't run better (faster) without training consistently. Running is one of the best examples of getting out of something what you put into it. So, just go out and run, dammit!

I ran one for the team tonight.I could not figure out why I was so winded until I hit mile one, 7 minutes. Back corner, 13:35. Last turn 19:48. Loop one 25:51:63. A record for myself. Loop two I was 25-30 seconds off each split. With a good kick on the final stretch, I was able to drop a 25:50:14. Two loop total-51:41:77. Nothing jaw dropping but a personal best. A good workout week should yield some good results at Rodeo Run.
