That's my time. I lost my chip somewhere between mile 5 and 10 so I'm not listed (yet) on the results. I know someone who knows the race director so hopefully they'll be able to add my time to the official results. More later.

Hey Lance,

According to USATF rules, official time is gun time. Chip time "can be made known to the athelete, but will not be considered as official time".

Congratulations on a great run.

Based on the weather logs on wunderground.com, looks like the front came thru Saturday night so you got the cool temperature but the wind probably wasn't fun on the lake.

Tuan speaks the truth, of course, but in Strider Nation recording of all race results and PR's is done by chip time :-)

CONGRATULATIONS LANCE!

Yes Tuan, the front came through overnight, which led to some good temps for the run but yes, the wind was brutal.

And Steeve, hopefully Strider Nation will accept gun time, since I have no chip time.
