10 K Race Simulation
Brian hung right behind me until we hit the split in 19:28. Then he took the lead for the return. By the time we were within a mile or two of the finish he was a good 20 seconds ahead of me, though it never got any worse than that. He finished in 38:36 and I came in at 38:56 for an exact even split.
Brian is going to join me for the 10K race Saturday morning. Do you think that him eclipsing his 10K PR tonight by about a minute had anything to do with his decision to tag along Saturday?
Total distance Wednesday (09/25) - 6.2 miles + .5 warm-up and .5 cool-down, 38:56 (6:17 pace).
